To add team members to your Bitso Business account, the account owner requests each new authorized user from the support team, giving the person's role and documents. Here is what each role needs and how to make the request.
Who can request new users
The account owner, meaning the person who created the account and is its legal administrator, is who requests new authorized users.
Roles and what each one can do
Auditor: read-only. Views balances and transaction history and downloads reports. Cannot perform transactions.
Operator: performs trades and conversions.
Withdrawal operator: performs trades and conversions, and starts withdrawal requests.
Account administrator — limited access: manages users, payments, and settings, and approves withdrawals. Cannot request new authorized users or perform actions that require legal authority or contractual commitment.
Account administrator — full access: everything limited access allows, plus the ability to request new authorized users. Cannot perform actions that require legal authority or contractual commitment.
Documents required by role
Auditor: government-issued ID.
Operator: government-issued ID.
Withdrawal operator: government-issued ID.
Account administrator — limited access: government-issued ID and proof of address.
Account administrator — full access: government-issued ID and a power of attorney issued by the company.
As of June 23, 2026, proof of address is no longer required for new authorized users. The only exception is the account administrator with limited access role, which requires it when there is no power of attorney.
How to make the request
To request a new authorized user, contact support or your account manager. Give the role you need and send the documents required for that role. The team handles verification and sets up the access.
Each person you add must complete two-step verification the first time they log in through the web portal on a desktop browser. Until they do, access to the account stays blocked.
Didn't work? Here's what to do
If the documents are rejected or the request doesn't move forward, confirm the government-issued ID is legible and current, and that for the account administrator with limited access role you included proof of address. If the problem continues, contact your account manager.
Soon you will be able to request new authorized users directly from the web portal.
